Oven Repair Projects

Built-in ovens require the right access and careful handling. These project photos show single and double wall ovens, removal from cabinetry, and work inside the oven cavity.

Stainless steel DCS wall oven with electronic control panel

DCS • Single wall oven

DCS Built-In Wall Oven

This DCS project features a stainless steel wall oven with an electronic keypad and display. The photo shows the control panel, door, and built-in installation.

We service oven heating problems, unresponsive controls, temperature issues, and door faults. Diagnosis identifies which component needs attention before a repair is recommended.

Thermador double wall oven removed from kitchen cabinetry on a service lift

Thermador • Double wall oven

Thermador Double Oven: Cabinet Access

The double oven is supported on a service lift after being pulled forward from its cabinet opening. This provides access beyond the front control panel while supporting the weight of the appliance.

Built-in oven repairs can require removal from cabinetry to reach wiring, cooling components, and electronic controls.

Double wall oven • Internal access

Inside the Oven: Convection System Access

This project photo shows a double oven out of its cabinet, with the lower door removed and access opened around the rear convection fan assembly. The removed cover and tools are visible during the work.

Opening the oven cavity allows inspection of the fan area and surrounding components when investigating airflow, noise, or heating concerns.

Range & Cooktop Repair Projects

From checking oven temperatures to accessing gas burner components, these photos show our work on cooking appliances in customers’ kitchens.

Professional range with an external temperature probe positioned inside the oven

Range oven • Temperature testing

Checking Oven Temperature with an External Probe

The oven is being checked with a separate digital thermometer and a wired temperature probe inside the cavity. This lets us compare the actual oven temperature with the selected setting.

Temperature measurements help investigate ovens that cook too slowly, overheat, or produce uneven results before deciding whether the sensor, heating system, or controls need attention.

Six-burner stainless steel gas cooktop with star-shaped burner caps removed for access

Gas cooktop • Burner access

Six-Burner Gas Cooktop Inspection

This six-burner cooktop has star-shaped burner components, with caps removed on the right side for access. Each burner is checked individually when investigating ignition or flame problems.

Inspection focuses on the burner assembly, igniter area, and correct placement of the removable components.

Refrigerator Repair Projects

Built-in refrigerators need careful access to their cooling and electrical components. Our refrigeration work includes temperature problems, airflow issues, ice makers, and water leaks.

Stainless steel KitchenAid built-in refrigerator with French doors and a bottom freezer drawer

KitchenAid • Built-in refrigerator

KitchenAid Built-In Refrigerator

This KitchenAid refrigerator combines French doors, a bottom freezer drawer, and a top-mounted equipment compartment within the kitchen cabinetry.

On built-in models, diagnosis considers both refrigerator and freezer temperatures, airflow, and the equipment compartment. Access depends on the location of the component being checked.

Built-in side-by-side refrigerator with its upper panel raised to expose the condenser and equipment compartment

Built-in refrigerator • Upper compartment access

Accessing the Condenser & Equipment Compartment

The upper panel is raised to expose the condenser coil, water filter, and equipment compartment above the doors. This gives access to components that are hidden during everyday use.

Condenser condition and ventilation are part of investigating cooling concerns. Electrical and cooling-system work follows the diagnosis. Our technician is EPA certified for refrigerant handling.

Washer Repair Projects

LG front-load washer pulled forward with the lower drain-filter service hatch open

LG • Front-load washer

Accessing the Washer Drain-Filter Service Area

The LG washer is pulled forward and its lower service hatch is open. This hatch provides access to the drain-filter service area without removing the entire front panel.

For slow-drain or standing-water complaints, inspection of accessible drainage components helps determine the next diagnostic step.

Dryer Repair Projects

White LG Sensor Dry dryer stacked above a washer with the dryer door open

LG • Stacked dryer

LG Dryer in a Stacked Laundry Installation

This LG Sensor Dry dryer is installed above the washer. The open door gives access to the drum opening, door latch area, and lint-filter area.

We service dryers that will not heat, take too long to dry, make unusual noises, or fail to start. Stacked installations require an access plan suited to the location of the fault.

Dishwasher Repair Projects

Bosch SilencePlus dishwasher displaying the E:25 fault code on its control panel

Bosch • E:25 on display

Bosch Dishwasher: Recording the E:25 Fault

The Bosch SilencePlus control panel shows E:25. Recording the displayed fault is an initial part of diagnosis, alongside the customer’s description of when the cycle stops.

A fault code guides the inspection; the component and underlying cause are checked before a replacement is recommended.
